PLEASE READ THIS PAGE COMPLETELY BEFORE USING THE FORUM TO COORDINATE SHARING A SUBSCRIPTION
Use the Coordination Forum for finding others in your area who would like to split a share, purchase your meat, sell you their meat, buy your shares while you're away for the summer, or otherwise help customize your subscription.
For those of you interested in splitting a share with someone else, you may want to consider purchasing the meat portion from someone who would like a vegetarian share, so that both parties sharing a subscription get meat each week. This means there would be three parties working together.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS IMPORTANT TO FIND SOMEONE IN YOUR AREA WITH WHICH TO COORDINATE AS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR SHARES FOR YOU. MEMBERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WORKING OUT ALL THE LOGISTICS AND MAKING THE TRADE/SPLITTING THE SHARE EACH WEEK. Perhaps when we've all gotten to know each other and we are all in the routine, we will be able to help, but at the outset, members will be fully responsible for working out payment, pickup, splitting, etc. with one another.
When posting to the forum, we suggest you put your wish and your zip code or neighborhood in the subject line. For example, if your subject is "vegetarian share, 63104" then others interested in an extra meat share who live near you can reply to your thread. If you are interested in finding someone to split a share, put the subject "1/2 share, Soulard" --you may want to include a second zip code or area to increase the possibility of finding a sharer, if picking up in your work neighborhood is an option for you.
Clarify your desires for how to share a subscription in the body of your post.
Once you have established the possibility of coordinating with someone, you can then click on that user's profile link and send them a private message. At that point you may decide to exchange phone numbers or email addresses to discuss the details. If you have found someone to share with, please post a final reply to that thread letting others know.
